The project was the contribution to an exhibition in the Architecture Gallery at Weissenhof in Stuttgart. The installation augments the classic modernist architecture of the existing building by adding a “third” artificial nature. b&k+ designed a computer-generated wallpaper with patterns of leaves and flowers that covered the walls of the gallery. Two opposing windows of the gallery were removed and a tube made of plastic foil connected both openings, as if to introduce “real” nature into the house. The external window frames were covered with a plastic foil wood print such as is used to “embellish” industrially produced doors.
