is dedicated to the Berlin based architectural practice Brandlhuber+ and its many collaborators. The monograph features built and ongoing projects in Berlin, Austria, Germany, Uruguay, Poland, and Sicily, between 2010 and 2021. The projects do not appear in chronological order, but are grouped according to their strategical approaches, that outline the practice’s design methods: contextualizing, orienting, opening, terracing, externalizing, and enabling.

Journalist and writer Antje Stahl contributes with an introductory essay on the work of Brandlhuber+—from theory to practice, from the past to the present, from single author to team—to eventually move beyond this Berlin phase and introduce the future practice of b+ which will take shape with the move to the prototyping workshop at 0154 San Gimignano Lichtenberg in the spring of 2021. A nexus completes the monograph with a conversation with Nikolaus Kuhnert (ARCH+) providing an insight into earlier projects, collaborations, and new directions to be tested in the future.
